the journey begins…

on tuesday, september 4th, i found out i got into Loma Linda University School of Public Health. i will start my first day of school on september 4th with a major in global health and specialization in global epidemiology. i am excited, not only because after spending 10 years infatuated with medicine, i am finally stepping into my purpose, but also because i know this is the beginning of a journey i have waited for all my life. i look forward to living in  the IE, experiencing the rich culture of Los Angeles, growing in my faith, meeting new people and learning how to impact lives. My acceptance letter reads this:

Included in the didactic units is the GLBH 545 Integrated Community Development course, which requires travel outside of the United States. Each student in Global Health is, therefore, required to hold a current valid passport (Please note that passport expiration dates must extend to at least six months beyond the return date of your trip).

let the travels begin….
